Press Release: Candidate Filing Week begins Monday, May 11th, 2020. Due to the COVID-19, the Election Office is closed to the public until further notice. For candidates to file for office, please prepare to file online or by mail. A person filing a Declaration of Candidacy for an office shall, at the time of filing, possess the qualifications specified by law for persons who may be elected to the office. If you are not a registered voter, please register at voter.votewa.gov. Before you file, please contact our office at (509)754-2011 Ext. 2704 to verify that your registration was processed. Filing by mail opened on April 27th and will close on May 15th. If we receive your documents before May 11th, we will retain the filings by mail for processing until filing officially opens on May 11th. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids, plainly marked "BID FOR STRATFORD ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, CRP 17-06", will be received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners located in the County Courthouse, P.O. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. No conditional bid bond will be accepted.
