Coronavirus: No new Grant County cases Monday

MOSES LAKE — No new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Grant County on Monday, according to Grant County Health District, meaning the total of positive cases in the county held at 182.

There were also 34 probable cases and 69 tests still pending results. Nine people sickened with the novel coronavirus remain hospitalized while 71 people have recovered, the GCHD reported on Monday.

As of Sunday evening, Quincy had 68 confirmed cases, Moses Lake’s total was 34, and the Mattawa area had 42 confirmed cases.

Ephrata had 16 confirmed cases and Royal City had 12. Warden and Soap Lake each had four, and the Grant County portion of the Othello area had a single case.

Of those confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus, 79 are men and 103 are women, the health district report said.

In addition to tests that have come back positive, 1,701 have come back negative.
