Community health clinics expand drive-up

| March 24, 2020 11:39 PM

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Community Health and Quincy Community Health have expanded their drive-up clinics, where patients are seen in the parking lot before entering the clinic or as an alternative to going inside. The expansion went into effect Tuesday and is in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Call, schedule, drive up” is a process that allows patients to stay in their own vehicles while being examined for respiratory symptoms, helping prevent the spread of contagions, a press release said.

The clinics still ask patients to call before coming in. Patients will be screened before they are allowed in the building. Only visits deemed medically necessary will be seen in the clinic.
