The Nation's Weather for Saturday, March 21, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

A powerful storm system that brought heavy rain and

thunderstorms across the Eastern states will lift well off

into Canada tomorrow, allowing for much drier conditions to

settle in. More sun than clouds along with a much lighter

breeze is expected across the Northeast, Great Lakes and

Plains as high pressure settles in. A few lingering showers

will continue to pester the Southeast and Gulf Coast, but

any wet weather should be brief during the day. Across most

of the South,a mostly cloudy sky is expected. Aside from a

few snow showers tracking through the central Rockies, much

of the West will remain dry as well. A storm system sitting

off the California coast will keep mostly cloudy skies in

place along with seasonable temperatures.
