How and where to pay utility bills

MOSES LAKE — During this time of closures related to the coronavirus, residents of Columbia Basin communities who want to pay utility bills by phone or drop box can contact city officials at the following phone numbers or drop payments off at the following locations.

Moses Lake

Residents can pay by phone at 509-764-3715 or 509-764-3719, or make arrangements via email at [email protected].

Utility payments can be mailed to P.O. Box 1579, Moses Lake, WA 98837.

The Moses Lake drop box is behind the city hall annex at 321 S. Balsam St. City officials request that residents use money orders rather than cash.

Ephrata

People can use the drop box in the alley behind Ephrata City Hall, 121 Alder St. SW. The street address is also the city’s mailing address. City officials ask that residents use money orders rather than cash.

Payments also can be made by phone, 509-754-4601.

Quincy

While city hall is closed to walk-in traffic, utility payments can be made via phone, at 509-787-3523.

People can pay by mailing a check or money order to P.O. Box 338, Quincy, WA 98848. Residents can drop off payments at the drop box outside city hall, 104 B St. SW. City officials are recommending money orders rather than cash.

Othello

Othello city officials said payments can be mailed to Othello City Hall, 500 E. Main St., Othello, WA 99344, or deposited in the drop box in front of city hall. Checks or money orders are the preferred payment method.

Residents also can pay over the phone, 509-488-5686, during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Warden

People can pay utility bills via the drop box outside the front door at Warden City Hall, 121 S. Main Ave., or by mail. City officials ask for money orders or checks rather than cash.

People who need more information can contact city hall at 509-349-2326.

Soap Lake

Residents are being encouraged to pay utility bills by phone, 800-766-2350, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Payments also can be mailed to P.O. Box 1270, Soap Lake, WA 98851, or left in the drop box in the parking lot at Soap Lake City Hall, 239 Second Ave. SE. People can get more information by contacting city hall at 509-246-1211.

Residents are asked to pay by check or money order. Cash payments will be accepted through city hall’s drive-up window as a last resort, but residents are encouraged to try the other methods first.
