Only medically necessary visits to Moses Lake, Quincy clinics

MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Community Health and Quincy Community Health have announced changes to medical visit scheduling in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Only visits deemed medically necessary will be seen in the clinic, with all other visits being switched to drive-up or telephone visits or rescheduled at the patient’s preference,” according to a press release from MLCH. The changes are effective immediately and will be in effect until further notice.

“Patients are still asked to call before coming to the clinic,” the press release said.

Other changes are being implemented for patients that are visiting the clinic. “Outdoor pre-screening will begin at both the Moses Lake and Quincy locations next week,” the press release said. “Anyone who comes to the clinic will be assessed for respiratory symptoms before entering the building. If a patient comes in for an appointment that cannot be completed over the phone, that patient and whoever accompanies them will be screened.”

Patients who have questions can call the Moses Lake clinic at 509-765-0674 or Quincy at 509-787-6423.
