The Nation's Weather for Friday, March 20, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Ahead of an approaching storm system, much of the Eastern
Seaboard will have temperatures well above average tomorrow
prior to the arrival of showers and storms later in the day.
Across the interior Northeast, a warm and wet day is
expected as well. Across the western Great Lakes, air in
place will be cold enough to allow for precipitation to fall
as snow. In the wake of the storm system across the Midwest,
there will be much colder air along with a brisk north wind.
A weak storm system tracking across the Intermountain West
will promote pop-up rain and snow showers across the region.
Other than an isolated shower along the California
coastline, much of the West Coast can expect dry conditions
with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
