Royal School District receives audit finding

ROYAL CITY — The Royal School District has received a finding from the Washington State Auditor’s office. According to the report published by the auditor’s office on March 5, the district failed to have adequate controls in place to prevent a contractor from receiving over $25,000 without ensuring that the contractor had not been suspended or debarred during the 2018-2019 school year.
