Grant PUD employees test negative for COVID-19

Some employees return to work Tuesday

EPHRATA — Some Grant County PUD employees will be returning to work Tuesday, after test results for the COVID-19 virus for a PUD employee and a contract employee came back negative.

However, PUD offices will remain closed to the public, according to a press release issued by PUD officials Friday evening.

“Grant PUD is consulting with the Grant County Health District and developing a plan to have workers who are not at high risk of serious complications from the virus to report to their normal work locations Tuesday,” the press release said.

All PUD locations will remain closed to the public until further notice.
