George Coffeehouse canceled this weekend

GEORGE — Due to COVID-19, the George Coffeehouse performance schedule for Saturday evening has been canceled.

“One of the band members has been experiencing symptoms,” said Debby Kooy, event director for George Community Hall, the sponsor of the George Coffeehouse series. The band, West Fork Stringband, was scheduled to play at the George Coffeehouse on Saturday, March 14. The band is currently expected to appear in May.

The next George Coffeehouse is currently scheduled for Saturday, April 25, with the group the Saddle Rockers. This and other events at the George Community Hall are subject to change due to the ongoing changes with COVID-19.
