NATIONAL SUMMARY

A storm system that brought flooding rain to the Southwest

will begin to track eastward into the Front Range and Plains

tomorrow. As it does so, rain and snow will blossom across

those regions. A separate storm system tracking through

southeast Canada will bring rain to New England. The same

storm will funnel strong wind gusts through the Midwest and

Great Lakes. Much of the Gulf Coast will continue to remain

dry and mild as an area of high pressure sits over the Gulf

of Mexico. A potent storm system will target the interior

Northwest, bringing heavy snow, rapidly dropping

temperatures and strong wind gusts to the region. The same

system will also bring a bit of rain to the Pacific

Northwest as well.
