Hayden building 70 homes in Moses Lake
MOSES LAKE — Hayden Homes is building 70 new single-family homes on the western shores of Moses Lake.
“We’ve had a lot of interest,” said Chris Blessing, a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker’s Tomlinson, Ranch and Home in Moses Lake. “But units won’t be available for sale until May or June.”
The development is called Sagecrest and is being built on roughly 22 acres within the city limits between Westshore Drive and Hansen Road just north of Blue Heron Park. Construction crews have graded the site and have started installing water and sewer, Blessing said.
If all goes according to plan, Blessing said the first wood frames of phase one should start going up in May or June, with homes in the first phase completed and ready to move into in September or October.
Completion of the second phase “depends on how fast we sell,” Blessing said.
Sagecrest will share most of the same three- and four-bedroom, two-bath models as Hayden’s Crossroads North development just east of state Route 17 between Nelson Road and Wheeler Road. According to Blessing, the 1,235-square-foot basic three-bedroom model will start at $194,990 with no alterations, while the largest, 3,195-square-foot, four-bedroom home will start at $284,990.
Based in Redmond, Oregon, Hayden Homes builds houses across the Pacific Northwest and has planned developments similar to Sagecrest across Eastern Washington.
