Gary Gustin, 61, passed away suddenly on Feb. 28, 2020, in Spanaway, Washington. His celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at Royal City Intermediate School. Burial will follow at Royal Memorial Cemetery.

Gary was born Sept. 3, 1958 in Moscow, Idaho. He was one of 10 children. He was preceded in death by his mother Ila; father Wayne Sr.; brothers Wayne Jr., Kevin and Craig and sister Linda. He married Yvonne Ione Pack on Jan. 22, 1983. They raised two boys; Darrell and Gregory. The family enjoyed camping, motorbikes and family get-togethers. Gary’s lifetime was spent boom loading and behind the wheel of his Freightliners hauling hay and freight. In July of 2011 his wife passed away. During this time he cherished every moment with his grandkids. Gary remarried in September 2016 to Patricia Adams, bringing two families together. She brought with her her daughters Denise, Kylene and her son Khristopher, who passed away in 2018.

Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Patricia; sons Darrell (Bridgette) and Gregory (Lacey); stepdaughters Denise and Kylene (Shawn); mother-in-law Danna; brother Dondi; sisters Cheryl, Melody, Julie, Pam (Don), Angie (Darin) and Melanie (Daniel); brothers-in-law Mike (Lita) and Ernie; sister-in-law Dot; aunt Babe; grandchildren MaKayla, Jarrett, Brody, Camdyn, Haylee, Dean, Kiezer, Kristian, Kassidee, Mikhei and A’mari and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
