NATIONAL SUMMARY

A weak disturbance will swing through the Great Lakes, Ohio

Valley and into the central Appalachians with spotty showers

of rain and snow tomorrow. Widespread showers and

thunderstorms are likely to riddle the lower Mississippi

Valley to the coastal Carolinas, while a few showers will

dampen South Florida. Dry, warm weather is expected across

the High Plains. Meanwhile, a slow-moving storm system will

continue to generate showers and areas of steadier rain

across Southern California and the Four Corners states, with

some snow expected across the highest mountain peaks.

Localized flooding can occur in any heavier downpours. A few

rain and snow showers are forecast across Montana as cold

air presses southward.
