Adams County virus cases up

OTHELLO — No new COVID-19 cases were reported in Adams County on Thursday, June 25. It was the second day this week with no new reported cases. Prior to that, June 11 was the most recent day that no new cases were reported.

Since Memorial Day weekend, the number of confirmed cases in the county more than doubled. On Friday, May 22, the Friday before Memorial Day, Adams County had 54 confirmed cases of COVID-19. As of Thursday, June 25, there were 119 positive cases in the county.

All but 10 of the 119 cases have been in Othello. Three were in Lind, five in Ritzville, one in Hatton and one in Washtucna. Currently, one patient is hospitalized. Ninety-seven cases were listed as recovered.
