UN: Less land in Colombia devoted to growing coca in 2019
BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — The amount of land devoted to growing the plant used to make cocaine dropped in Colombia last year as the military embarked on a campaign to pull out thousands of the coca shrubs that have stood as a stubborn thorn in the nation’s history.
