South Africa says 2 pandemics now, virus and gender violence
JOHANNESBURG (AP) — South Africa now faces two pandemics, COVID-19 and the violence against women and children that has risen sharply since alcohol sales were allowed again on June 1, the president said Wednesday as he announced further easing of lockdown measures.
