GRANT COUNTY — There were 10 new cases of the novel coronavirus reported in Grant County on Tuesday, with residents in Moses Lake, Ephrata, Soap Lake and Quincy testing positive, according to Grant County Health District.

In total, there were 347 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Grant County as of Tuesday evening.

The health district said it could not list the number of negative tests, pending tests or probable cases — coronavirus tests processed by private labs — because of the volume of new cases. The district staff is working on investigations.

Moses Lake is now home to the largest number of confirmed cases, 101, in the county. Quincy’s total was 93, and the Mattawa area’s total was 83, according to health district data.

Five people sickened with the novel coronavirus are currently hospitalized, and five people have died from COVID-19-related causes in the county.
