MOSES LAKE — A popular Moses Lake restaurant will close for two weeks after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

Mitch Zornes, owner of Chico’s Pizza Parlor, announced on the restaurant’s social media channels that the restaurant would be closed for 14 days, starting from June 10. The plan is to reopen the restaurant June 24, he said.

Zornes called it a “necessary step” to protect employees and customers, as well as the broader community. The building will undergo additional cleaning during the closure, he said.
