The Nation's Weather
The Nation's Weather for Friday, June 12, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The nation will be free of any major weather systems
tomorrow, but there will be some stormy areas, particularly
on either coast. Along the southern Atlantic Seaboard, a
stalled front will be the focal point for numerous and
drenching showers and thunderstorms, some of which can be
gusty and cause flash flooding. Drier, less humid air will
spill across the Interstate 95 corridor of the Northeast,
while a weak disturbance sparks stray showers and storms
across part of the Great Lakes and New England. Expect
pleasant conditions across the North Central states as
thundershowers erupt in the southern Rockies. A high fire
danger is forecast in Nevada and adjacent Utah and Arizona
as dry, gusty winds whip south of a storm in the Northwest.
This storm will bring showers and storms to coastal areas.
