Cyprus tightens rules for passport-for-cash scheme

NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) — Cyprus says it is introducing tougher anti-money laundering checks in its “golden passports” program, under which it gives citizenship to foreigners who invest large sums in the east Mediterranean country.
