June 5

Officers responded to the 9700 block of Olympic Drive Northeast for a report of man who sent explicit photos to an unknown person over Facebook and who was now being blackmailed.

Officers responded to the 4000 block of Longview Street Northeast for a report of a fence that had been cut.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Stratford Road for a report of a woman driving with her child standing in the backseat without a carseat. The woman was cited and a car seat was obtained.

Officers responded to West Valley Road and North Central Road for a report of intersection lights not cycling properly.

Officers responded to the 600 block of West Edgewater for a report of a low-flying drone that had been seen in the area several times in the last couple days, and which appeared to be taking pictures of women in their bathing suits near a private pool.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of West Electra Street for a report of an unknown juvenile that stole a bike from a residence.

Officers responded to Adi Food Mart for a report of a man assaulted by three other men that had driven up next to him and started arguing about gangs.

Officers responded to the area of West Third Avenue and South Division Street for several reports of subjects downtown displaying guns.

June 6

Officers responded to Samaritan Hospital for a report of a subject begging for mental health help but not cooperating with hospital staff. The subject asked officers to shoot him, and was detained and admitted for a mental health evaluation.

Officers responded to the 4600 block of East Junco Street for a report of a car prowling that had taken place two days prior.

Officers responded to the area of West Peninsula Drive for a report of graffiti painted on the sidewalk and bridge.

June 7

Officers responded to Lauzier park for a report of a subject with what appeared to be a firearm in his waistband, who stated he was going to the protest. Officers later confirmed the firearm was actually a CO2 air pistol. Officers later contacted the subject again inside Taco Bell and advised him to place the air pistol in his bag out of view.

Officers responded to the El Rancho Motel for a report of an unknown subject that had attempted to pry open a door, then set the door on fire around 2 a.m.
