NATIONAL SUMMARY
While showers will be found in interior New England, coastal
areas could have locally gusty thunderstorms tomorrow
afternoon. Farther south, spotty storms can be expected in
much of the Southeast and Tennessee Valley. In the northern
High Plains, severe afternoon thunderstorms with torrential
downpours, large hail, damaging wind gusts and even an
isolated tornado are likely. A couple of showers and
thunderstorms will occur in much of the Intermountain West.
A steady rain is likely to fall in western Montana.
Meanwhile, showers will be found along the coast from
Washington southward through Northern California. Elsewhere,
Cristobal will be monitored as it moves northward through
the Gulf of Mexico. Much of the central and southern Plains
will sizzle.
