Syria says new wave of US sanctions is 'economic terrorism'

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — The Syrian government condemned Wednesday a new wave of U.S. sanctions against the country, calling the measures “economic terrorism” that will increase the suffering of the Syrian people.
