Moses Lake man in Sunday accident named

MOSES LAKE — The man killed in an early Sunday morning accident on Patton Boulevard was Christopher Boyd, 46, of Moses Lake, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Boyd was driving a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Patton Boulevard just north of SR-17 when he crossed into the northbound lanes and then “went off the east side shoulder” and rolled off the road, GCSO said.

Boyd was able to get out of the vehicle and go to a nearby residence before collapsing. Law enforcement and emergency medical responders attempted life-saving measures but were unsuccessful.

The accident remains under investigation, and no one else was injured, according to GCSO.
