May 29

Officers responded to the area of East Wheeler Road and state Route 17 North for a report of a patient being transported by MedStar who was repeatedly trying to exit the vehicle while it was moving.

Officers responded to the 2400 block of West Texas Street for a report that a resident’s trash had been found illegally dumped in Adams County. The resident stated that they had contracted with someone to properly dispose of the items to the dump.

Officers responded to the 600 block of South Russell Avenue for a report of six shots fired at a residence.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of North Buell Drive for a report of a domestic assault in the backyard of a residence.

Officers responded to Pier 4 Resort for a report of an unknown subject in a smaller two-door grey passenger car who attempted to speak with two young girls and tried to get them in the car. The vehicle was not located.

May 30

Officers responded to the 1500 block of North Daniel Street for a report of loud music coming from a residence at 5:30 a.m. The subject reportedly became extremely upset when officers advised them to turn the music down, cursing loudly at the neighbor behind his residence.

Officers responded to the Pelican Horn Apartments for a report of a physical fight between two residents in the parking lot.

Officers responded to the 400 block of South Balsam Street for a report of a blind man harassing a woman. The man reportedly left running before officers arrived.

Officers responded to the 4200 block of Airway Drive Northeast to assist the sheriff’s office with a report of shots fired in the area.

Officers responded to the area of West Mart Road and North Stratford Road for a report of two men in the area who appeared to be gang members “blazing” gang colors and paraphernalia. Both suspects had outstanding warrants, one of which was a felony, and both were booked into jail.

Officers responded to the Travel Inn for a report of a suspect wearing red and flashing a red bandanna. The suspect reportedly began to reach into his pocket where officers observed a hard object. Officers frisked the suspect for weapons, though none were reportedly found. The suspect was booked on outstanding warrants.

Officers responded to McCosh Park for a report of four subjects discussing a possible future shooting that needed “just one for the chamber” while displaying a bullet.

Officers responded to the 700 block of South Pennivy Street for a report of a man with wearing a blue jersey and blue bandanna walking near this location with a handgun. The man told officers he did not have a gun and a K9 unit was unable to locate a firearm.

Officers responded to the Moses Lake Fire Department to transport five young kittens to the animal shelter.

May 31

Officers responded to the 400 block of North Grape Drive for a report of multiple subjects fighting.

Officers responded to the 900 block of West Broadway Avenue for a report of a subject calling to ask if he could legally slap his roommate for smoking meth. Officers advised the subject should call police and not slap his roommate.

Officers responded to Samaritan Hospital for a report of drug paraphernalia found at that location.

May 28

Michael Lence White, 19, of Warden, was booked on an outstanding warrant related to third-degree theft and minor in possession.

May 29

Kristoffer Donald Lawter, 34, of Ephrata, was booked on charges of violating a no contact order.

Sheena Lea Hecker, 31, of Moses Lake, was booked on charges of fourth-degree domestic violence assault.

Michael Medrano, 28, of Ephrata, was booked on charges of intimidating a public servant.
