Gov vetoes nursing home bill; says based on 'false premise'
LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Friday vetoed Republican-sponsored legislation that would have let nursing homes house coronavirus-infected residents only in a separate building from where other residents live.
