Whitmer opposes making schools offer in-person classes
LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was unreceptive Tuesday to Republican-passed legislation that would require public schools to offer in-person instruction to students in kindergarten through fifth grade amid the coronavirus pandemic.
