| July 29, 2020 11:19 PM

MOSES LAKE — Grant County Economic Development Council has $2.5 million to help small businesses across the county cover losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic closures.

The money comes from federal funds received by the Grant County Commission under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act passed by Congress in March and is available exclusively to small businesses with 20 or fewer full-time employees.

The grants cover business expenses and “loss of revenue” related to the pandemic for businesses that qualify, according to the EDC.

To apply for a grant, check out the EDC’s website, grantedc.com/grants, or for more on what expenses are covered, contact Nic Thurston with Grant EDC at 509-764-6579.
