Firefighters golf tournament canceled

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Firefighters Golf Tournament has been canceled, according to tournament chair Jason Koziol.

The tournament, canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was originally scheduled for Aug. 1 at The Links at Moses Pointe.

“We are disappointed to announce that due to uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 state-mandated rules and phases, in fairness to our sponsors, and safety concerns for our volunteers and participants, the 2020 second annual Moses Lake Firefighters Golf Tournament is canceled,” Koziol said in a statement.

Koziol added that he is looking forward to resuming the tournament in August 2021.
