_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A front draped across the Midwest will sink southeastward
tomorrow and bring rounds of showers and thunderstorms to
much of the region. Scattered storm activity will also dot
portions of the humid Southeast and mid-Atlantic, while much
of the Northeast will stay dry. Very high temperatures will
continue to bake the Interstate-95 corridor. Farther west,
monsoonal-moisture-driven thunderstorms will fire up in the
afternoon for parts of the Southwest. Dangerous heat will
ramp up over the Northwestern states as dry and sunny
conditions persist. Outside of areas immediately adjacent to
the coastline, California will remain unseasonably warm,
while much of Nevada continues to swelter.
