NATIONAL SUMMARY

Spotty thunderstorms will be found across the central

mid-Atlantic and Tennessee Valley tomorrow afternoon. Strong

afternoon thunderstorms will rumble across portions of the

Great Lakes and Midwest; some of these could produce flash

flooding, large hail and damaging wind gusts. Afternoon

thunderstorms will dot the interior Southwest. Thunderstorms

will also riddle the Florida Peninsula, especially the

central and southern portions. Parts of eastern Montana and

North Dakota could also receive thunderstorms, particularly

during the morning hours. Much of the mid-Atlantic, Great

Lakes, Ohio Valley and Southeast will experience

temperatures in the 90s F. The mercury will top the century

mark from western Nebraska southward through West Texas and

in the Southwest.
