Esper order aims to expand diversity, skirts major decisions
WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Mark Esper took steps Wednesday to expand diversity within the military and reduce prejudice, but he skirted several major decisions, including whether to ban the Confederate flag at defense installations.
