_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Dry and seasonable conditions will spread over much of the
mid-Atlantic and Northeast tomorrow as warmth pushes into
the Southeast. Aside from a few afternoon thunderstorms
along the Gulf coast and across Florida, the Southeast will
remain dry. Dangerous heat will persist over the bone-dry
southern Plains as many locations record temperatures up to
10 degrees Fahrenheit above normal. Farther north, the
Midwest will have to contend with another round of severe
thunderstorms. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, flooding
downpours and even an isolated tornado are possible from
Iowa and Missouri, to Michigan and Indiana. Much of the West
will remain dry, while unseasonable warmth continues for the
Southwest.
