NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strong cold front will dig across the Upper Midwest and
central Plains tomorrow, causing severe thunderstorms. Any
storm will be able to produce damaging wind gusts, hail and
heavy downpours. Farther east, showers and thunderstorms
will linger across the Northeast, while the mid-Atlantic
remains dry. Aside from a shower or storm near the coast,
much of the Southeast will remain dry and seasonable. A few
afternoon thunderstorms will bubble up across portions of
New Mexico and Colorado, while the rest of the West remains
dry. Stifling heat will continue to bake the southern
Plains, while unseasonably hot conditions begin to relax
across the Southwest.
