Lithuania bans Russian television channel RT, follows Latvia

VILNIUS, Lithuania (AP) — Lithuania's media watchdog says it has banned the broadcasts of the state-controlled Russian television channel RT, effective Thursday, following a similar decision made in Baltic neighbor Latvia last week.
