NATIONAL SUMMARY
The Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and mid-Atlantic will continue
to sweat it out as hot and humid conditions persist
tomorrow. Showers and thunderstorms can rumble to life
across these areas in the afternoon. Farther south, a
sluggish system will continue to bring rain and heavier
thunderstorms to the Southeast. Severe thunderstorms are
likely across portions of the northern High Plains from the
afternoon onward. Any storm from Montana and North Dakota,
to the southern portions of Saskatchewan and Manitoba,
Canada, can unleash large hail, damaging winds and heavy
