2-year-old killed in hit-and-run; police seek pick-up

MILWAUKIE, Ore. (AP) — A 2-year-old died Thursday after being struck on a Milwaukie residential street by a motorist that then fled.

Officers responded to the 9500 block of Southeast Wichita Avenue shortly after noon to investigate, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported. Police said they are searching for a white, two-door pick-up truck.

Police wouldn’t release further details.
