Kathy spent her life in service to others while filling a place in the hearts of everyone that knew her. She showed her family unconditional love and caring while being a great listener. With her sharp wit, she never failed to bring humor, creativity and compassion to the many stories that she loved to share. Kathy had a way to always make you feel understood and special at the same time. She will forever be remembered for her fortitude, her principles, and for her love of books.
Kathy’s final wish was to be cremated and have her ashes spread to the winds of the Pacific Ocean. This humble ceremony will be fulfilled by her children and extended family and friends on the West Coast on or about July 18. Her entire family would like to extend its thanks and gratitude for the many condolences and happy memories that so many of you have shared. A Celebration of Life for Kathy will be announced at a later date.
