Adams County COVID-19 numbers rise

RITZVILLE — Adams County reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 in Othello on Thursday, July 2, bringing the county total to 163 confirmed positives. Of those, 110 patients have recovered. No one is currently hospitalized with the virus.

The county had sent out 1,308 tests overall. Of those, 894 had come back with negative test results. On Thursday, there were 237 tests awaiting results.

Of the confirmed cases, 153 are in Othello, five in Ritzville, three in Lind, one in Washtucna, and one in Hatton. Only Othello and Hatton currently have active cases.
