EU high official for talks in Poland on rule of law threats

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — The vice president of the European Commission, Vera Jourova, met Polish parliament and justice officials Tuesday to discuss new legislation that restricts judges amid mounting conflict in Poland as the government takes steps to control the court system.
