Lawsuit says Mississippi prisons are 'plagued by violence'
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — More than two dozen Mississippi inmates sued the state Tuesday, saying understaffed prisons are “plagued by violence” and inmates are forced to live in decrepit and dangerous conditions.
