September 23, 1966 – January 8, 2020

People come and go so unexpectedly; we sometimes forget that nothing really lasts as long as we hoped they would.

Lyle Joseph Bullinger, 53, of Moses Lake, Washington, succumbed to his fight with ongoing medical issues in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020.

Lyle is survived by his wife Sarah Bullinger of 25 years, daughters Trece Brown and Taylor Alvarado, parents Lawrence and Kitty Bullinger of Davenport, Washington, sister Laurie Miller of Puyallup, Washington, loving nieces and nephews and many friends who were considered family. Our Lyle loved being a father, cherished his wife Sarah, loved his sister and was a wonderful son. Lyle was always a good man and a friend to everyone.

Lyle was born in Mandan, North Dakota on Sept. 23, 1966. He married Sarah July 31, 1993 in West Richland, Washington.

He loved sports, especially football. His favorite team was of course his Seattle Seahawks. He worked as a journeyman welder/fabricator for over 30 years but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his sudden illness.

Our Lyle always spent his free time with family, he truly loved the outdoors, camping and spending time on the lake boating. Lyle was an avid golfer, playing with family and friends and in charity tournaments every season. He truly had a lifelong music passion; he was a fan, attending live rock concerts and doing an amazing job singing Karaoke – he always lit up the room.

Lyle was always creative and a gifted craftsman. That good skill showed in his household projects, his work projects or whatever else people needed him for.

A special thank you to the family and friends, the hospital in Ireland and Virginia Mason Hospital that supported and helped Lyle during his sudden illness.

Service will be held Jan. 17, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Kayser’s Chapel, 831 S Pioneer Way, Moses Lake, Washington. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge, 814 N. Stratford Rd, Moses Lake, Washington. Lyle will be laid to rest at Guarding Angels Cemetery.
