The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, January 14, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

A stalled storm system will be the focal point for numerous

showers and thunderstorms across the South tomorrow. The wet

weather can dampen ongoing cleanup efforts from the storms

over the weekend, as well as raise concerns of localized

flooding. Even with the clouds and rain, temperatures are

likely to be above average and may come close to daily

records. A few showers may creep into the mid-Atlantic,

while dry weather will prevail for most of the Northeast.

Some snow can lead to slippery travel across the Upper

Midwest. Snow showers and flurries will extend from the

Pacific Northwest coast to the Rockies as cold air settles

over the area. Some rain and snow will dampen Northern and

central California.
