Marysville pays $85,000 over immigrant's detention

MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — The city of Marysville has agreed to pay $85,000 to a Mexican immigrant who was twice held in custody on the basis of immigration detainers, despite court orders that he be released from jail.
