Lorraine James Shriver

Lorraine James Shriver was born to Dora and Olin James in 1927 at Spokane, Washington and grew up in Davenport, Washington where she resided until the early 1940s. She moved to Thompson Falls, Montana where she worked as a teletype operator for the railroad. In 1945 she married John Baker and gave birth to two daughters. In 1958 the family moved to Othello where she was involved in many activities related to the community and her church.

She is survived by her sisters Lorretta Cummings and Lois Kirkwood (Jerry), daughters Margie Baker and Cheryl Wimer (Gerry), three grandsons, six great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband John Baker and her infant daughter Linda. She is also preceded in death by her husband Henry Shriver and her great-granddaughter, Kristina Davis. Funeral arrangements have been made by Stevens Funeral Home, Othello, Washington. Funeral services will take place at Othello Nazarene Church, 835 S. 10th Ave., Othello, Washington at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020. Burial will be in Bess Hampton Memorial Cemetery.
