OSD graduation to remain the same
OTHELLO — At the beginning of January, the Othello School District asked parents, students and district employees for input concerning the possibility of moving graduation due to a possible conflict with sporting events that could happen that weekend.
The district had posted a survey on Facebook as a way of seeking input. Approximately 60 percent of those who responded requested that the date not change.
With the survey data in mind, the district decided to leave graduation on May 29, as originally scheduled.
District staff will work to provide transportation to any students that end up being affected, to ensure that they are able to attend graduation.
Any questions concerning graduation should be directed to the Othello School District office, 1025 S. First Ave., in Othello, or 509-488-2659.
