New Virginia sentencing law ends high court's DC sniper case

WASHINGTON (AP) — Lee Boyd Malvo, the Washington, D.C., area sniper, and Virginia agreed Monday to dismiss a pending Supreme Court case after the state changed criminal sentencing law for juveniles.
