_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system will continue to bring rain and snow to
portions of the Northwest tomorrow. Heavy mountain snow is
expected to blanket the Washington and Oregon Cascades. With
snow levels falling to pass levels, travel delays are
likely. As this storm system pushes southeast, snow will
overspread the northern and central Rockies. A separate,
weaker system will dip out of southern Canada later in the
day, bringing a batch of accumulating snow to the northern
Plains. Winds will strengthen throughout the day in the
mountainous terrain of Southern California, with rather
gusty conditions to continue overnight. Elsewhere, flurry
activity will come to an end in the Northeast with
temperatures expected to rebound throughout the day. A weak
storm system will bring showers to parts of the Gulf Coast.
