Woman pleads guilty to murder in sheriff’s deputy death

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A 31-year-old woman pleaded guilty to first-degree murder Tuesday for her role in the death of Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Daniel McCartney.
